I am associate professor at the Department of Mathematics of University of Pisa.

My main field is probability theory. My teaching also covers statistics, while my research deals with PDEs, SPDEs, artificial neural networks and biostatistics.

I am a member of the Italian Mathematical Olympiad Committee.

I am the main developer of SAI, an AI program that plays Go.
